Give me a break Lions

OK I've wanted to write this for a while, but didnt have the time, its 1 plus am and I have a long long day tom, but I must get this off my chest.

People of Singapore/Singapore Soccer Fans/People Who Watch Soccer

Please do not be misled by the media, thiking "wow, I missed such a courageous performance by the lions, wah, we are not too far away from China...."

PLEASE DON'T.

For those of us who were there dat day there are a few things I must clairfy which is of the absolute objective truth.

1) Singapore played like shit, really did not chase for the ball, could not shake the Chinese from their possession, wrong tactics, no composure, no stamina the list goes on...

2) The Chinese team were playing at about 30% , you can tell from the body language they were not serious about the match, after all, they had the lead in the table, there was no sense in going all out and trying to attack Singapore

3) The Lions should be bloody grateful 39k people came, I dunno how the media can say wow, like 1/3 were China supporters, when in actual fact, Singaporean Chinese and China Chinese, you cant tell much unless you go realli close and hear them speak (not being racist hor, its the same with Singaporean Malay, malaysian malay and Indonesians), seriously dat many people coming down on a wednesday night, with traffic stuck all the way to geylang, 3 booths opened up for tickets, they still wanna complain, I mean cmon lar,. lets admit the lions are not a world class team, and Singaporeans? Only sing when we're winning... So 39000 of us aint too bad rite?

However, what was true was that China fans were louder than Singapore fans, I mean this is normal lar, the only time nobody can beat the singapore fans its during the referee kayu cheer, dat is the ultimate unifying cheer which every singaporean fan knows and will shout with all their might.

Seriously I think we have to take a look at ourselves if we are already lavishing praise over the game. I would rather the lions played better and lost, then played like shit and drew. People know thats how I run my team, but thats the way society is, always looking at the PRODUCT and not the PROCESS.

Just before ending off, I just wanna say, if your opponents are taller than you, dont play balls in the air. And let me not even start on the dead ball situations. Seriously, those of us who were there dat day..... man...

If not for the company...

Out.
