A prelude - Standing on Shaky Ground

This was what was used as road along Paya Lebar Road. Yes cars, trucks were travelling on this, and there I was standing and waiting for the traffic light to allow me to move to more stable ground. Everytime a vehicle passed by, these metal gratings would shake, of course, with me on it. And what was below me? Construcion work which seemed to stretch on forever underneath. It was like something out of LOTR when the orcs and Saruman were preoaring for war.

Nevertheless the situation was very scary, cos I kept thinking about the Nicoll Highway collapse and how everything just crumbled. Nonetheless I trust the Singapore government have got our backs on this.

All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey

Yesterdae was a fugged up day to say the least. Mostly cos of the rain. Well, first before anyone crucifies me and starts to talk about how we should be grateful cos of people in Africa...yada yada yada... , yes I guess the good thing was dat our reservoirs and canals are now full of water and should there be a world-wide sudden drought we should be able to at least tahan for bout a week.

But! I hate having very wet days, i dont mind the occasional drizzle type of thing, but to have rain lasting a day??? Proposterous. And I was outta the house going places yesterdae, first to Pasir Ris then to Ang Mo Kio. Although I was sore that I couldnt play later at night at Woodlands Stadium, least I didnt have to travel anymore. My socks were soaked, and so were my shoes. My jeans were also gone, and I usually wear them for a few days.

I couldnt wait to get home.

From inside the bus, which was freezing cold too btw.

The view from my place, thing is the whole sky was grey, it wasn't like a patch of grey. The whole damn sky was blanketed in a gloomy grey.

And what's worst is dat the same thing seems tobe happening again.

Trials how????

Out.
