Alright finally back, its beena hectic weekend to say the least.

SMU Match was a great experience for all. But most importantly what I can take out of it is that the girls are slowly but surely improving. Ok maybe not so slowly. I think the basic fact remains that for most of them they are realli panicky when faced with a game-like situation. So let me give a lowdown on all 18 who played.

Charmaine
Did her job well, can improve on the kicks a bit, but overall she has developed a certain composure which I admire and she is starting to show some steady hands.

Wai Yen
For someone who has not trained for a while, she passed with flying colurs really. She made a brilliant save of a flick on header in the second 3rd. Beautiful moment.

So far i think these 2 keepers rock, and i wanna keep them for as long as i can

Shuyu
Shuyu played realli well, perhaps at times her pace let her down cos she missed a few balls, but I think she has really come a long way and will prove to be useful.

Salome
What can i say? Player of the year always does thejob well, and perhaps i might have pissed her off a bit by not playign her at the start, but Salome is a rock, i have always maintined this.

Sihui
Excellent on the right, except for the one time when she called her own handball, which was more funny than infuriating. But Sihui did her job and did it well.

Grace
Must have taken 2 million throw ins, but she did great i think. I like both my fullbacks. just need to be a bi more aware at times.

Bee Teng
I havent seen Ah bee in ages, but she did ok, as usual of cos, she thought she didnt, but I've sort of reached a point where i can only give so much encouragement and its up to her to change things herself. But Bee Teng has always been reliable without a doubt.

Rynette
My star performer of the game, definitely woman-of-the-match for me. Well timed clearances, she has definitely got the hang of playing sweeper. I like the way Rynette always does her job in a quiet but sure manner.

Audrey
Audrey is so FREAKIN talented, but i simply cannot get the best out of her further up the pitch. I will keep trying though, she always appears a bit lost when shes on the pitch, so I would say it wasnt the best of games for her. I think it may actually be because of the ankly thingey.

Alex
Alex is so blur sometimes! I was really a bit frustrated but in the later part of the game she was brilliant, she kept the girls at bay. Im reali proud of Alex, and she realli ran and ran until she coouldnt take it anymore. Great job by "Smith"....

Christl
Christl did her job ok dat day, not the best of days for her, but I notice that she still lacks a bit in the stamina dept. But i realise that Christl is realli strong, stronger than she realises, maybe cos of her gym days, and mostof thetime she can hold off her opponents. MY pledge is to keep working with her to make her a better winger, or maybe I might have to switch her to another position.

She Fong
My captain was a bit lost cos she kept drifiting inwards, which was not really what i wanted. Ive seen better days from her, maybe its the REs so cant balme her also. But nemind just gotta keep working at it.

Sara
SAra looked a little blur when she came on, but after dat she settled down a bit and played ok. She hasnt been training with us cos of the coming exams, but she gave a fair account. Needs to pick up on her movement though.

Rebecca
"Becs" was a bit lost on the left at the start but realli came into her own when i put her in DMF, realli credible performance and was her first time playing on field with boots and all. I hope she can come to VJ.

Tan Xuan
TX looked a but off colour dat day, perhaps cos she wasnt given much time to rubn at the defences. But i think she did ok. Can do better.

Vivian
Viv took a long while before she got my instructions. I think part of it sometimes boils down to her inability to trust the others wif the ball. But i think i should have played her in the AMF instead and played with two strikers instead. But the desire this girl has is enormous realli.

Wara
Wara has the skills needed to go far, but she is too static at times, i relaly need to workmore wif her on her movement and stuff. She can def become a good player.

Shi Ling
Anothercandidate for woman-of-the-match, she ran her butt off totally. Really reminds me of esmond and lucas in our year 1 season, two of them harassing opponents liek nothing like dat.Shi LIng did brilliant, but i always knew this girl had the heart of a lion.

SO dats dat for the SMU match, lots of positives and things to build on. Training is taking a break for a week for the girls to settle their stuff and all before our new batch joins us in week 2. But im happy wif how far ALL the girls have come. I promise to keep giving them my all.

After dat i headed straight for VJ, thanks a million billion to daniel for comgin to pick me up, in a jaguar some more, to bring me to school. we all had a smashing game and i felt so liberated to finally play, it was back to good old days of overlapping and crossing and stuff. And i did a superb over the head solkjaer trap, where on earth did dat come from? 2-0 to the old boys, job well done.

Nite time was of course the highlight, the 8th annual new year BBQ. And this year was brilliant! Syarif cooked up soem brilliant nasi goreng, and we even played soccer a total of 11 of us, for 2 hours from 1am to 3am. Of cos the police came to warn us, but who gives a shit! by then we already sat down to rest anyways. Love all the RI guys, and to Cecil, Jon and Rif, 3 of you are simply amazing guys whom i havea privelege of sharing so many experiences wif.

Overall its been a busy weekend but a most fulfilling one, spent a lot of time with different people from my trainees, to my biz partners to my good friends.

Out.
