A thousand words

Have sometime so as promised here are the pics of what I have experienced so far, will follow this post up with my experience to the mosque today.

Above is a pic of the long driveway out to the main road of my place, which is called Herdsman Parade. This long driveway is about 150m, and yeah once you reach the end, which is where I'm standing gotta walk in a bit more to my place, which is the second last building.

Australia is full of trampolines, which are probably used in the summer. But I guess this is what you can do when you actually HAVE space. So here was the first trampoline I saw on the way to my nearby supermarket.

Second Trampoline.

Third trampoline, which is probably most advanced, even has things at the side to prevent you from jumping off the trampoline.

This is the inside of the supermarket which is called IGA. The one near my place is called a Supa IGA, and they have lots of varieties of things, including Singaporean spices and such. As you can see it pretty much looks the same.

This is what I took went I went out today after Friday Prayers I headed over to the Perth Cultural Centre, this is the post office btw, which is not part of the centre, but is one of the best places to meet cos of its distinctive structure. Its in the middle of the Perth City Centre (the Orchard Rd like area in Perth)

A fountain outside the Perth Arts Centre.

A walkway just outside the WA Musuem, as you can see the trees are all botak already, a sign that winter is intensifying.

The facade of the WA Musuem, which I hope to go to soon.

I managed to head over to the library also after prayers, and well the music scene is already vibrant here. This board, with all the ads, are of those people looking for bands, people who are looking to give lessons and take lessons in music. Brilliant.

The state library of WA, nice and spacious.

Another picture of the inside of the library, tables and powerpoints are easy to locate, but I think its because most of the students already have access to it at their own schools.

This is a picture of a booth promoting breast cancer awareness. I was wondering at first what the things hanging around the booth were.

And then I saw this hanging nearby. Talk about getting the msg across. Later on I also saw women wearing these purple bras (on the outside of their already worn clothes of course) and collecting money for breast awareness. Realli unique but powerful way to get the msg across.
Well thats all for now, I will update about how today went later on, time to cook dinner!
Missing all,
Az
