Everything In!
Finally I have everything in today, prob with the exception of the rice cooker, somehow couldnt find it at TARGET today, maybe cos people here don't eat much rice. But other than that I bough plates, cups, knives, a hanging rack for my wet clothes, extension cord, and a few other small knick knacks here and there.My bed is also up, and my parents came over today in the afternoon after their trip up Margeret River to help me ensure eveyrthing is in order. Which it is btw, my dad left me his video cam, so will be putting up some pics real soon.
Other than that, went to watch a movie with my parents also, State of Play, starring Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck at a cinema in the city. The movie, which I knew nothing about, turned out to be realli riveting actually and realli like hyped up the whole concept of journalism and where they draw their borders on reporting. Interesting. My two qualms though are the price (9AUD today, which was the cheapest day & the popcorn which was salty by default....wtf!).
Other than that I think I may have to go bald also, cos haircuts are crazy, 18AUD. Man, I would rather cut my own hair, which would obvs be a failure, so maybe i would ask my housemate to cut me botak or something, at least can save some money.
Oh well dats all for now, tomorrow will prob move around and find my way through this whole area. Oh yes, I also managed to find a wholesale store to buy meat from, halal meat, so food issue has been settled.
