Alright, since I am in a slightly better mood, let me talk normally, and firstly bitch about the weather?
WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WIF THE WEATHER????!!!!
Dark clouds approaching....out of the stormy sea.

I mean in the morning its perfectly fine, but within a few hours, its like doonsday rain, lots of thunder and lightning, mini flooding occuring everywhere, my shoes were soaked yesterdae, and so were my pants, had to go home in the same thing I trained in yesterdae. Cock up sia. And the thing is, there has been no news as to when the end will be in sight, which sux btw.
I think the worse thing is dat a lot of things are getting disrupted cos of the sudden changes in weather. First on my mind is of course training, wif about 6 trainings to go, we havent had the chance to touchthe field yet this week, or even last week, when we had to settle for a mini patch at ECP, with lightning threatening to strike us at any time. Of cos the boys soccer team has had their matches delayed TWICE cos of the rain. I hope this thing will clear up like TODAY or something.
I mean cmon lar, if its gonna rain, then just rain in the morn can? Dont give sun, and we have fucking hope and then it just turns completely something like a scene from "the day after tomorrow". Oh man, I guess things could be worse, like the floods in Belgium, which even broke throuh the flood walls and stuff.
The second thing I wanna talk about is the changes in VJC, the one that I came from 2001-2002, and the current 2006 in VJC. Some changes are good, and some are not so good.
So let me start with the positives.
1) The school environment is very friendly, very fun lar, and of cos Mrs CHan is a MASTER businesswoman
2) The soccer boys are like in an elevated position in school, the latest jerseys, exclusivity on the field
3) Much more room for the students to take charge, and express themselves, what was done on Aprils' Fool was unheard of in my time, and of cos, I mean setting up of CCAs and stuff
4) The IGLOO! The place is awesome though I have never been in it, too bad it was built after we left, we would have dumped the loft in an instant for that place
And what is not too pleasing
1) Short skirts. I mean cmon lar, if the girls skirts are already this short now, what will they be weraing in university? Its unbelievable lar, and cmon giev me a break, its not even like nice legs are in abundance in VJ, they are freaking endangered lar. Aiyoh, dont understand whats the fixation in having short skirts, I believe you should flaunt it, ONLY if you have it, if not nevermind stay covered up first. The thing is its the whole school, what used to be frowned upon in 2001, is now the norm in 2006. Oh well, maybe I should change my expectations.
2) Same as the point 2 in the positives, cos we are in a position where we can as easily be crucified by the whole school. Things were much easier when we were just like everybody else, and we were not put up on a pedestal by everybody. We played soccer cos it was hat we loved, and the cup was just a reward. Can u imagine the P actually questions TYH about the formation now? She din even noe what our formation was in 2002!
3) The attitude of the students. The students nowadays, are not afraid to say shit in front of you, as in they dare to go against you, to take matters in their own hand, its like when I see the interaction between the teachers and the students its realli different. Had a long chat wif lofty, mini and tan about this and all agreed that somehow the students today are less respectful in general.
4) The younger teachers. Slowly the difference between the teachers here, and people in Uni is blurring, cos thye are so damn young! I bet 50% will leave the career once the 5 years is up. Its sad to noe that ppl. have such mentalitis to a career, and dats why guys you have to respect TYH for this. Cos no matter how cock up he may be sometimes, he told me that he is still around cos he has the passion to do it. And well, dat you gotta take your hats off lar.
But I think despite all I've said, theres a reason, why I dont mind draggin my ass to school sometimes 5 times a week, and dats cos its VJC, and theres only one place in Singapore like it. Home is where the heart is.
Indeed.
Out.
