First Day of Lessons

The first day of school has been fulfilling but a bit overwhelming. I have so many things to do, which includes interviews, essays, lit reviews, group pieces and final exams of course.

Morning started with Coaching Psych. with Doc Gordon, he's a realli nice guy, and I went to his office to speak more to him about stuff and all. He actually played for Aberdeen when he was younger, and Fergie actually coached Aberdeen back when he was first starting out. No surprise that during Fergie's reign, they managed to break the deathgrip that Celtic and Rangers had over the Scottish league. But anyways, the class was cosy, and I am doing my group project with an exchange student from Norway, and another girl whom I did not have much of an impression of. But yeah, its quite hard to understand them somewhat, but I will try and work with them. we got time on our side for now so I guess its alright.

The afternoon was spent in the library downloading journals and reading course material. The library is really superb, cos its dedicated to the sciences only, so the stuff there is pretty extensive. Loads of material on sports psyche and nutrition and biomechanics and such. Beautiful. But yeah the library had abundant computer points and comps as well, which was realli fine, and I realise I dont really have to lug my laptop along all the time, since there is such an abundance of computers nearby.

At about two I went for the Exercise and Health Psyche lecture again with Doc Gordon, and a PhD student called Julie presented to us some bacis about sports psyche and such. I am quite lucky that school over the past 3 years gave me a good foundation so most of the stuff was really quite familiar to me. I am doing my groupwork with two americans, a Londoner and a guy from Oman. Haha. Somehow the international kids tend to stick together, I gues its normal at the start.

Thereafter I headed home around 5 to the worst weather ever. Right now the weather is bad and there are like gales outside and stuff. I wonder how it is like in Fremantle which is rite at the coast. But yeah, its really cold and stuff here, and the winds are really bad. Si much so that I decided to just stay indoors. I am supposed to go out and make a call but I think I can't cos really the wind is quite bad. 110km/h according to the reports. Its literally howling.

So yeah school on day one has been good. I am glad that I have a break tomorrow so I can consolidate, study and prepare for Wednesdays classes.

I missed the testimonial match for the first time today.

Missing all,
Az
