BGT

Lately I have been keeping myslef witth the development of Britain's go talent which is basically just like AI only that you can probably do anything which is considered talent and not just sing. The prize money is a 100 000 pounds and the opportunity to perform in front of the queen. Also, although I dunno the other two judges, simon cowell is there as a judge.
At the same time, it was also nice to watch the eventual winner Paul Potts and his journey throughout the competition. He eventually won it btw.

I think its realli heartening to see how he made good, and how so much talent can be hidden in people that it takes shows like these to show them. I think in the case of Singapore, there are really so many talented people, but only a few have enough guts to try out. Ok lar, ppl like Joakim and Paul seriously suck as singers, but i have to tip my hats off to them cos of the way they can take all the criticism and judgement from the public, including myself, who only sit in front of the telly and point and laugh.

But anyways back to Paul Potts, realli realli great voice, go and find it on youtube or something when u have the time, surprisingly the competition lasted a relatively a short time, so you can watch all three performances from his prelim to semi to final on the net.

And also, I observed Simon and he is damn different in the show, as in he is nice, he is actually the first one to clap at times, and seriously he was gonna tear already when paul potts won the comp and sang. Super different lar.I mean on AI, he is the one who never stands up and always the last to clap. He also explicitly took the trouble to thank everybody on the show, and said that it was the best ever show he worked on, i think taking a dig at AI. I mean they cant possibly sack him rite?

Other than dat, reservist has been great, cos of the company and I think I am gonna miss it when its back to school. Haha so funny, how u miss things when you're not doing them, I remember the only thing i wanted was for NS to end, when i was doing my stint. Haha.

Oh well, tom is the last day of the week, then monday Phil's coming over for a whole day program so that will be fun. Looking forward to it bro.

Out.
